We developed a social media campaign for one of design agency Deluxe7’s clients. Running across a broad range of social media – Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Foursquare, YouTube – we created the ability for the client to communicate with its audiences in a tailored way.
The campaign was managed by using one overall social media management tool, and we created messages and communications which went out on some or all of the streams, depending on the content.
By taking an overview of the social media landscape, we were able to establish communication routes which would be more specific for one particular audience than another. Sometimes, a message that might be aimed at a more senior, older audience might go out via LinkedIn; on other occasions, news aimed at a younger demographic might focus more heavily on Facebook. Sometimes, a message might be suitable for being communicated on all streams simultaneously.
In today’s digital, social media world, it’s important for individuals and organisations to know how to use channels confidently and influentially.
